Residents of the Israeli community of Givat Ze’ev, who are used to thinking of their town more as a suburb of Jerusalem
than as a West Bank settlement, are now confronting the possibility that their 10 minute commute to Jerusalem will be on a
road sandwiched between concrete barriers, much like the "tunnel" road to the Gush Etzion settlement block.
Our Mission
Only a miracle will keep Givat Ze’ev from becoming an isolated enclave within Arab territory. We are urging the
residents and public in general to express their concerns to the Israeli government in order to change the fence route. Even
shifting the route of the security fence as little as 200 meters away from along the road (Route 436) will
do much both for the security and for the quality of life of the residents of Givat Ze’ev.
